Janelle and Adedoyin are two of 161 students in the Uplift Heights Healthcare Institute’s inaugural cohort, a program training the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Janelle is exploring diagnostic technology, inspired by her family's medical experiences. Adedoyin is gaining hands-on skills, from hurricane relief workshops to blood pressure training, as he prepares to shadow an emergency medicine doctor.
Students here don’t just study healthcare—they experience it. With workshops and mentorship from Baylor Scott & White Health clinicians, Uplift Heights is preparing students for careers in healthcare.
These programs go beyond classes—they open doors to real-world opportunities, including dual enrollment credits with partner colleges.
