Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine is pleased to announce Thomas Anderson, M.D., a medical oncologist/hematologist on the medical staff, and Kelvin Lewis of Coca-Cola Refreshments have joined Baylor Grapevine hospital board.
“The clinical and business expertise that Dr. Anderson and Kelvin will bring to our organization will help us continue to provide quality health care in a rapidly changing environment,” said George McCleskey, chairman of the hospital board at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine.
Board certified in internal medicine and oncology, Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has been a member of the board of trustees of his multidisciplinary oncology group and currently serves as physician and research site leader. At Baylor Grapevine, he is an active member of the physician leadership committee, tumor board and cancer committees.
Dr. Anderson received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois and attended medical school at the University of Illinois College Of Medicine. He performed his residency at the University of Oregon Health Science Center and completed his fellowship at the University of Arizona Health Science Center. Prior to moving to Texas, Dr. Anderson was medical staff chairman at Lovelace Medical Center in New Mexico. He and his family reside in Southlake.
“I am excited to join the board at Baylor Grapevine as another way to serve the growing medical needs of the community,” said Dr. Anderson.
Kelvin Lewis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience launching new products and sustaining sales growth. He currently leads the sales and business relationship with the US Military exchange food service and vending retail customers within the Coca-Cola System. Lewis also held several progressive positions within Johnson & Johnson.
He earned an executive MBA from Baylor University and Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Louisiana Tech University. Lewis has also participated in a host of community service projects. He and his family reside in Hurst.
