Tim Bowen Named President of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney

MCKINNEY, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, announces today that Tim Bowen, FACHE, is joining the organization as president of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney.

"Tim has a robust record of operational excellence, program growth and team engagement," said Jerri Garison, region president of Baylor Scott & White Health in North Texas. "I am confident he will continue to build on McKinney's successful legacy."

Bowen joins Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney from Baptist Health Medical Center – Conway, part of the largest not-for-profit health system in Arkansas, where he recently led hospital operations as facility president.

Previously, Bowen served as president at Integris Grove Hospital in Grove, Okla., and as chief executive officer at Mena Regional Health System in Mena, Ark..

"I'm honored to join the team in McKinney during a time of increased growth in North Texas," Bowen said. "I look forward to carrying on the legacy of Baylor Scott & White and furthering the service of our McKinney campus within the community."

Bowen holds a bachelor's degree in science and nuclear medicine technology from the University of Central Arkansas and a master's degree in business administration from John Brown University in Arkansas. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Scott Peek, senior vice president of joint ventures for Baylor Scott & White Health, has served as interim president at Baylor Scott & White – McKinney since February 2022.
