Baylor Scott & White Health Opening Manor, Texas, Clinic

New clinic follows announcement of location plans in Kyle and West Lake Hills

AUSTIN, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health today announces a new primary care clinic in Manor, Texas, a town northeast of Austin. Construction is in progress, and the clinic will serve the Travis County city in fall 2017.

The clinic will be located just 10 miles from the future location of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Pflugerville, set to open in mid-2018.

The largest not-for-profit health care system in Texas has recently opened Austin area clinics in both Travis and Williamson counties and broke ground on a medical center in Pflugerville in February. The most-recent clinic announcements for the Austin area include clinics in Kyle and West Lake Hills.

"Our Manor clinic announcement follows a busy spring for Baylor Scott & White as we've continued to grow in Travis and Williamson counties, as well as make our debut in Hays County with revealing plans for our Kyle clinic," said Colleen Sundquist, Vice President, Clinic Operations, Baylor Scott & White – Austin / Round Rock Region. "We look forward to opening our doors this fall in Manor."

The Manor clinic will be a ground-up facility, and will continue to build on the quality medical care the largest not-for-profit health care system is providing in the area via four medical centers and more than 20 clinics spanning Travis and Williamson counties, and as of fall 2017, Hays County.

"As the Austin area continues to grow, it's important we look at its surrounding areas to provide our trusted model of quality, convenient care," said Jay Fox, President, Baylor Scott & White – Austin / Round Rock Region. "With our plans for our medical center in Pflugerville just up the road, we hope to offer even more care options for residents in Manor."

"As the residents of Manor learn about Baylor Scott & White, we know our highly integrated and individualized approach to care will be a big factor in patients understanding our unique model," said Rob Watson, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Baylor Scott & White – Austin / Round Rock Region. "From their first visit to the Manor clinic, we want patients to feel we're taking a holistic view to their health care with a dedication toward keeping them healthy."

Baylor Scott & White Clinic – Manor, located at 12436 Gregg Manor Road, Manor, Texas 78653, will open in the fall of 2017 and serve patients Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
