Obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics among new medical services available to the community

Baylor Scott & White Health today announces the addition of 14 physicians, seven advanced practice professionals and more than 80 staff members from two Brenham and one Bellville clinic locations. These professionals will join the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas on Sept. 17, 2018.

The clinic in Bellville will be the healthcare system's first location in Austin County.

"With the addition of these new providers, we continue to increase access to safe, quality, high-value, convenient care for residents of Brenham and throughout Washington County," said Jason Jennings, president, Baylor Scott & White – College Station Region. "Expanding our footprint to Bellville is part of our growth strategy; but more importantly, it strengthens our commitment to the communities we serve."

The clinics transitioning to Baylor Scott & White will operate under new names, but the hours and locations will remain the same:

  • Baylor Scott & White – The Brenham Clinic, 600 N. Park St., Brenham, TX 77833

The Brenham Clinic – Continuing Decades-long Legacy of Caring for the Community
Physicians from The Brenham Clinic said they are excited to join Baylor Scott & White and believe this will be a great opportunity for all involved.

"Combining The Brenham Clinic's 62 years of experience and patient confidence with Baylor Scott & White's position of strength in the Texas medical arena, we are ready to move forward together to serve the community," said Jeff Stoltenberg, MD, general surgeon at The Brenham Clinic, who has a history with the health system, having done his surgical residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

"This is an exciting time for the medical community and patients in Brenham," said William Loesch, MD, internal medicine physician at The Brenham Clinic. "I trained in Temple and know firsthand that in this System, patients come first. I predict a long and happy relationship."
