He received his MSHA and MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2002.
The DFWHC Board of Trustees created the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year Award in 2005 to recognize contributions of young men and women in the field of healthcare administration. To be eligible, a nominee must be 40 years of age or younger and employed in health services at an executive level by a DFWHC-member hospital.
Peek will receive the award during DFWHC's Annual Awards Luncheon on Oct. 28 at the Arlington Convention Center. The luncheon's keynote speaker will be Joe Scarborough. Stewart Stimmel LLP will be the presenting sponsor, with CampbellWilson LLP and Perot Systems serving as gold sponsors.
