Educational Workshop: Preemie for A Day
What does the hospital environment feel like to a tiny infant in a high tech neonatal intensive care unit? The nurses who daily care for these fragile patients discussed care-giving skills during a "Preemie for A Day," educational seminar held for clinicians at Baylor All Saints Medical Center. This interactive, multisensory training allows participants to experience an infant’s journey, from birth through admission, and the opportunity to practice developmentally supportive care throughout their stay.
