Saturday Mammography Services at Craig Ranch

Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch to Offer Saturday Mammography Services

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch, an outpatient department of Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano, will offer two Saturday Mammography Services on Saturday October 3 and 17. Clinicians on the Baylor Plano medical staff encourage women to be diligent in sticking to a routine of breast self-exam, clinical examination by a physician and mammography.  The Clinics will be held at the Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch in McKinney, 8080 State Highway 121, Suite 201 A.

In addition, Saturday services will also be offered at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano Women's Imaging Center on Saturdays, October 10 & 24. The Women's Imaging Center is located in Medical Pavilion II, Ste 100, on the Baylor Plano campus. Appointments at both facilities begin at 8 a.m. and can be made by calling 469.814.5500.

Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch offers full service, digital imaging and diagnostic services, including dual-head molecular breast imaging, mammography, ultrasound, bone density, MRI, CT, and diagnostic radiology. The new facility is one of a few in the world and the only facility in Texas to offer dual-head molecular breast imaging, which offers benefits over digital mammography, including definitively visualizing tumors less than 2 cm. in size, from two camera angles.

Through the Baylor Plano Women's services department, women have access to two registered nurses to help patients navigate their way through the sea of services and resources available at Baylor Plano.  The women's services coordinator provides free breast cancer risk assessments and individual and community education on a variety of women's health and wellness issues – helping women make informed health care decisions by providing information, support and resources.  The certified patient care nurse navigator assists patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis with physician referrals, follow-up care, recovery services, education and connection to various programs, support groups and services throughout the hospital.

In addition, Baylor Plano will offer the following events in the upcoming weeks.
