Ryan Gebhart Named President of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial

Former Plano executive transitioning to Frisco

Ryan Gebhart, MBA, has been named president of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial.

Gebhart joined Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, in 2012. He most recently was vice president of operations at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Plano.

During Gebhart's tenure at Baylor Scott & White – Plano, his leadership was instrumental in helping build Baylor Scott & White – Plano's Cancer Health and Wellness Center, a modern oncology care center that opened in 2017. Additionally, other service lines and programs were strengthened, and operational efficiencies were gained under his leadership.

Gebhart has coordinated and managed many campus projects including affordability initiatives, accreditation surveys, several service-line councils and quality committees, and supported the community charitable clinic strategy.

"I am blessed by the relationships and experiences gained at Baylor Scott & White - Plano, and thankful for the opportunities I had to serve the City of Plano and our surrounding communities," said Gebhart. "I am grateful to transition into this new role and lead a great hospital team within a thriving Frisco community."

Ryan has a master's degree in healthcare business administration from Baylor University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from University of Missouri in Columbia. He and his wife have two daughters.
