Lori Luppino named president of Baylor Scott & White Central Texas Foundation

TEMPLE, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, announces today that Lori Luppino has been named president of the Baylor Scott & White Central Texas Foundation.

"Lori has a long history of strengthening donor relationships, enhancing fundraising activities and enriching the culture of her team," said Kristi Sherrill Hoyl, chief philanthropy & community affairs officer for Baylor Scott & White. "I am confident she will continue to deepen the impact of our work in the communities we serve."

Luppino joined Baylor Scott & White in 2013 as assistant director of foundation relations. After holding progressive leadership roles, she began serving as interim president for the Central Texas Foundation in early January.

Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White, Lori spent nearly 10 years overseeing community programs at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida. She also has two decades of experience as an executive director and program administrator for a variety of nonprofits. In addition to her new role, Luppino is deeply involved in the Central Texas communities. She is a board member of Altrusa International of Temple, an organization of professional leaders and executives dedicated to improving communities through personal service. She is also a former board member of Helping Hands Ministries, which exists to eliminate all physical and spiritual hunger in Bell County.

"I'm honored to step into this role with our Central Texas Foundation," Luppino said. "It's an exciting time to be in healthcare right now, and it's incredible to see the impact we can have when we work together to invest in the future."

"I am proud of Lori's instrumental leadership over the last months," said Sherrill Hoyl. "I am confident she will continue to build upon that work and advance our organization's Mission."
