John Lacy has been named chief human resources officer at Baylor Scott & White Health. Lacy oversees all human resource functions for the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas.
Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White Health, Lacy had been vice president of human resources for Memphis-based Baptist Memorial Health Care since 2011. He was senior vice president of human resources for Methodist Health System in Dallas from 2007 to 2011.
Lacy said he was attracted to Baylor Scott & White Health because of its reputation.
"Having worked in a Baptist system in Memphis, we heard about Baylor and Scott & White and its innovations. I had a good impression of the integrated Baylor Scott & White system – how powerful the work culture was, the spirit of the people, their pride and their innovation," he said.
Lacy said his goal is to make Baylor Scott & White Health a Fortune 100 Best Place to Work.
