COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health has changed the name of the hospital in College Station, and celebrates the change with the community. Scott & White Hospital – College Station is now Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station. A day full of activities for staff and community dignitaries on the hospital grounds provided a celebration for the name change announcement. The signs with the new name were installed on the outside of the hospital just over a week ago.

"This hospital opened almost three years ago, and today begins a new chapter for the patients of our Bryan and College Station area," said Jason Jennings, president of the Baylor Scott & White – College Station region. "We have had the opportunity to serve this community since 1985, when we opened our College Station clinic with 22 physicians. Today we draw on expanded resources, advanced technologies and expertise of the Baylor Scott & White Health system – the result of the combination of two preeminent health organizations, both with outstanding reputations. Today we do that proudly under our new name."
