WACO and TEMPLE, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health announces leadership appointments in its Central Texas region. These key leaders are advancing healthcare in communities the not-for-profit health system has served for more than 125 years.
Greg Haralson, president, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple and Central Texas Region
Greg Haralson joined as Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple and Central Texas Regional president on Jan. 16.
The Texas native received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a master's degree from Trinity University. His extensive background in hospital administration has equipped him with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of a modern healthcare system.
Before his new role, Haralson served as the CEO of Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center in Houston. Prior to that, he worked at two Memorial Hermann hospitals and three HCA Healthcare locations in North Texas. He serves on the board of the Texas Hospital Association. Haralson and his wife chose Central Texas more than a decade ago as a long-term home. He is thankful to be able to serve his community.

Chris Lancaster, president, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest
In Waco, it's a homecoming as Chris Lancaster returned to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest as president on Jan. 8.
Lancaster served as director of clinic, hospital and financial operations at Baylor Scott & White – Hillcrest from 2012 to 2017. He then served as CEO of Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock — a 360-bed tertiary hospital. He has more than 17 years of experience in the industry, working in multiple leadership roles at Covenant Health System, as well as at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Winnsboro.
Lancaster is honored to be back and eager to build on the remarkable gains made in recent years.
"Returning to Waco to serve the Central Texas community is a great joy for me and my family," Chris said. "The compassionate, quality care has always made this a special place, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work together to uphold that standard and continue to improve the care in our community."
Lancaster serves on the leadership development council for the Texas Hospital Association, is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and was named this year to the rising star list as one of 67 healthcare leaders under 40 by Becker's Hospital Review.
Dell Ingram-Walker, president, Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center
Dell Ingram-Walker, a longtime leader at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center, has been promoted to president after 25 years at Baylor Scott & White.
She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and a master's degree from Texas A&M University – Central Texas. Before accepting a full-time job as a pediatric financial analyst in 1999, she interned at Scott & White Healthcare. She steadily advanced, becoming vice president of clinic operations in 2013, vice president of medical center and outpatient clinic operations in 2018 and chief operating officer in 2021.
Under Ingram-Walker's leadership, Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's grew its comprehensive services and enhanced its focus on quality and compassionate care. She oversaw the expansions in the emergency department, procedure suites, radiology, physical therapy/occupational therapy spaces and McLane Children's clinics. She is leading the effort for a pediatric intermediate care unit and an expanded neonatal intensive care unit. She also serves on the Leadership Roundtable Steering Committee for the Children's Hospital Association and numerous local boards.
"I have a deep passion for McLane Children's," Ingram-Walker said. "We are committed to the children and families we serve, our community and each other."
