Baylor Scott & White Health today announces a new primary care clinic in Kyle, Texas, south of Austin. Construction has begun, and the clinic will open its doors to serve the Hays County city in fall 2017.
The clinic in Kyle will be the first location Baylor Scott & White opens in Hays County. The largest not-for-profit health care system in Texas has recently opened Austin area clinics in both Travis and Williamson counties and broke ground on a medical center in Pflugerville in February.
"Making our debut in Hays County is a great milestone for Baylor Scott & White," said Colleen Sundquist, Vice President, Clinic Operations, Baylor Scott & White – Austin / Round Rock Region. "The clinic will allow us to serve more Central Texans, offering the community a new primary care clinic close to home."
Baylor Scott & White has a long-standing history of providing quality medical care to residents and families in the area, including four medical centers and more than 20 clinics in Travis and Williamson counties.
"Our patients receiving care when and where they need it stays at the forefront as we're selecting new clinic sites," said Jay Fox, President, Baylor Scott & White – Austin / Round Rock Region. "Located in one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas, Kyle is the perfect location for us to introduce our trusted model of quality, convenient care."
"Baylor Scott & White's integrated model of care is something that makes us truly unique," said Rob Watson, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Baylor Scott & White – Austin / Round Rock Region. "Our multidisciplinary team approach to patient care allows us to be efficient while also providing a seamless and individualized experience for each patient."
Baylor Scott & White Clinic – Kyle, located at 4036 Cromwell Drive, Kyle, TX 78640, will open in the fall of 2017 and serve patients Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
