DALLAS, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, announces new patient care sites and expanded digital care offerings to meet the rapidly growing healthcare needs of North and Central Texas. The new locations will offer more choice and convenience to those seeking same-day care.
Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care+
Throughout the summer and early fall, new Baylor Scott & White Urgent Care+ locations will open to care for the whole family, including newborns, for minor illnesses and injuries at the following sites:
- 530 American Way, Terrell
- 5400 Crosslake Pkwy, Waco
- 5302 N Garland Ave, Garland
- 1213 E Trinity Mills Rd, Carrollton
- 4122 LBJ Fwy, Dallas
- 7451 McCart Ave, Fort Worth
These additions bring the number of urgent care locations jointly owned by Baylor Scott & White and NextCare Urgent Care to 46 across Texas.
Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospitals
Over the next two years, new Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospitals will be built in four North Texas neighborhoods where access to healthcare currently requires longer commutes — delays that can make all the difference in a medical emergency:
- Pleasant Grove, Dallas
- Renaissance Square, Fort Worth
- Texas Motor Speedway, Fort Worth
- Willow Park, Aledo
These small-format, fully licensed hospitals jointly operated with Emerus Holdings, Inc., will add to the eight locations currently providing comprehensive care for major and minor adult and pediatric medical emergencies across North Texas.
This expansion represents an investment in the well-being of Texas families, bringing care closer to home, delivered by teams they trust.
Digital Navigation through MyBSWHealth
To offer guidance to those seeking care, Baylor Scott & White has created the Help Me Decide tool, available in the MyBSWHealth app. This feature helps customers navigate with confidence: Users simply describe their symptoms to be guided to the most appropriate site of care.
“We know navigating the healthcare system, especially in urgent situations, is one of the greatest pain points for our customers," said Dr. Rob Watson, chief clinical operations officer, Baylor Scott & White. "As critical to growing in-person and virtual care options is our ability to offer personalized navigation, helping patients and families make informed decisions on where to seek care."
MyBSWHealth is available to all Texans and available for download by texting BETTER to 88408 or visiting MyBSWHealth.com.
