Baylor Scott & White Health Acquires Clinic in River Place Area of Austin

New clinic offers family practice and convenient care services

Baylor Scott & White Health today announces the acquisition of the VIK Medical location at 10815 RR 2222, building 3A, suite 100, Austin, Texas 78730.

Additional Baylor Scott & White locations within the city limits of Austin include Baylor Scott & White clinics – Austin Downtown, Westlake, North Burnet, Avery Ranch, and Circle C. The largest not-for-profit health care system in Texas also recently announced it would open additional clinics in Kyle, Manor and Southwest Austin in the fall.

Michael Vik, M.D., founder of VIK Medical, and his team will continue to serve patients at the clinic with family medicine and urgent care services ― as part of the Baylor Scott & White system of integrated health care delivery. The Westlake location will operate independently as VIK Medical.
