Baylor Plano Announces Acquistion Of Elizabeth Jekot, MD Breast Imaging Center

On Thursday, June 30, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano acquired the Elizabeth Jekot, MD Breast Imaging Center located at 3301 Renner Road in Richardson.

The facility will now be known as the Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano Elizabeth Jekot, MD Breast Imaging Center. Baylor Plano plans to retain all 18 of the current employees of the Elizabeth Jekot, MD Breast Imaging Center, or will help the employees transition to new roles within the Baylor Health Care System. Elizabeth Jekot, MD, radiologist, will serve as medical director of the Center. As a breast cancer survivor, Dr. Jekot is passionate about early detection of breast cancer and helping women overcome breast cancer. Dr. Jekot is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and completed internship and residency training programs in diagnostic radiology. She also completed a breast fellowship at Komen Breast Center in Dallas.

The Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and offers patients access to digital mammography, breast sonography, breast needle biopsy, breast MRI, and bone density. Appointments at the Center may be made by calling 469.814.5500.
