Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine's marketing and public relations department has been recognized among the nation's most elite healthcare marketing professionals in the 2011 Aster Awards. The hospital earned a Bronze Award in the category of special video production for its ‘Employee Thank You Video.'
In 2010, the department won the Gold Award for its physician recruitment brochure and the Silver Award in the for its cardiovascular services brochure.

The Aster Awards is one of the largest national competitions of its kind, hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc. This elite program recognizes outstanding health care professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts for the calendar year of 2010. The 2011 Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. Judging criteria includes creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
