Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health care system in Texas, recently was included on the 2017 Digital Edge 50 list at the AGENDA17 conference. IDG Enterprise's annual list highlights "organizations for digital transformation initiatives with significant, measurable business impact."
This year's list included 50 companies for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer initiatives in 15 industries in the U.S., Australia, Belgium, China, France, India, Singapore and Switzerland.
Baylor Scott & White was on this year's list for MyBSWHealth—a website and mobile app through which patients can access their health records, find providers, receive health and wellness tips and more.
"To be recognized next to companies not only known in the U.S. but ones that are world-renowned is an honor," said Nick Reddy, chief digital officer, Baylor Scott & White Health. "MyBSWHealth is a cornerstone to our overarching innovation story—connecting patients to care when and where they need it. Through one source, you can discover providers, locations, see past health records and even receive wellness tips. We are excited about this recognition, and also recognize the future opportunity to mature this channel to be more engaging and more personal for our patients and members."
MyBSWHealth, developed over two years, is one of several digital health initiatives Baylor Scott & White is spearheading to make its integrated model of care more connected and seamless for patients.
The 2017 Digital Edge 50 list honorees were recognized at the March AGENDA17 conference in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
