In a continual effort to provide quality medical care to those battling cancer, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano offers patients a dedicated oncology unit with oncology-certified, registered nurses.  Patients benefit from healing in all private rooms with ample windows that allow for generous natural light.  In addition, the oncology library provides patients and family members with helpful resources, patient support and education.

Relay For Life honors cancer survivors and remembers those who have lost the battle with cancer.  The 7th Annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life Plano, a community commitment to fight back against cancer, will take place on the baseball fields at Alcatel-Lucent, 3400 Lotus Drive in Plano, on April 24 at 7:00 p.m.  Prior to the event, teams of 8 to 15 people collect sponsorships to raise money for cancer research, services, education and advocacy.  On the night of the event, teams set up campsites, enjoy entertainment, honor survivors, and remember those who have lost their lives through a luminaria ceremony.  Meanwhile, one team member from every team walks around the track between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. to remind everyone that the battle against cancer never stops.  For more information about Relay For Life Plano visit www.planorfl.org.
