Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine was recently honored by the Texas Hospital Association (THA) as a 25-year member of THA. The award was officially presented to the hospital's president, Doug Lawson, by Della Vallejo, THA's membership manager, during a recent visit to the hospital. Baylor Grapevine was one of eight hospitals honored.
"Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine has joined the ranks of numerous other Texas hospitals that have achieved 25 year membership status in THA," noted Vallejo. "This is a significant milestone, and THA thanks the hospital for its long-term support."
"We are extremely honored to receive this recognition from Texas Hospital Association," stated Baylor Grapevine President Doug Lawson. "As we strive to be known as the best place to give and receive safe, quality, compassionate health care, being a member of such a hardworking advocate like THA has definitely been an asset for our hospital throughout the years."
Founded in 1930, the Texas Hospital Association is the leadership organization and principal advocate for the state's hospitals and health care systems. Based in Austin, THA enhances its members' abilities to improve accessibility, quality and cost-effectiveness of health care for all Texans. One of the largest hospital associations in the country, THA represents more than 85 percent of the state's hospitals and health care systems, which employ some 340,000 health care professionals statewide.
