Oral Abstract: 6-month Outcomes of Liver and Kidney Transplantation From Donation After Circulatory Death Heart Donors in the US

  • Author: Anji Wall, MD

  • Time: 3:10 PM EST

  • Abstract/Study Purpose: Donation after circulatory death (DCD) heart donation is becoming increasingly common in the US. The two methods for DCD heart donation are thoracoabdominal normothermic regional perfusion (TA-NRP) and super rapid recovery (SRR) with ex-vivo heart machine perfusion. Liver and kidneys can be successfully transplanted from donors with both procurement methods.
