DALLAS, Texas – Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, has named Christina Goodman as president of Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, which raises and distributes funds to advance the mission of the health system.
Goodman joined Baylor Scott & White in 2014 and over the past decade, she has helped raise more than $50 million for initiatives such as the Give to Change employee giving campaign, the annual Celebrating Women Luncheon and the launch of the Texas Cancer Interception Institute. Since 2022, Goodman has served as the foundation's vice president of development, and under her leadership, the foundation team raised a record-breaking $38 million in fiscal year 2025.
"Christina's vision, leadership, and ability to unite donors, physicians and community leaders have had an extraordinary impact," said Norm Bagwell, chairman, Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation. "She brings nearly 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and has spent the last decade building meaningful relationships, motivating teams and advancing development efforts at the foundation."
Kristi Sherrill Hoyl, chief philanthropy officer of Baylor Scott & White, said, "Christina is deeply connected to both our System and the Dallas community, where she's built strong relationships and advanced initiatives that continue to make a lasting difference. She has a gift for uniting people around purpose and translating generosity into meaningful support for customers, patients and families."
Goodman has been recognized by local and national organizations for her exemplary leadership. She was among the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy's 40 Under 40 winners in 2020, named an Outstanding Young Alumni honoree in 2023 by SMU's Cox School of Business and selected for the prestigious Leadership Dallas program in 2023.
"Over the past decade, I've seen the extraordinary generosity of our donors and the life-changing impact it creates for patients and families," said Goodman. "I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue this work alongside our talented team, our physicians and caregivers and our dedicated board as we build on the foundation's legacy and shape its future together."
