Organ transplant recipients meet family of donor
The family of Ty Osman, who was killed in a car accident in 2012, came to Baylor University Medical Center on Saturday, March 2, 2013, to meet the people who received Ty's heart, kidneys and pancreas. Ty had signed up to be an organ donor before he died.
Paul Morse of Lubbock, Texas, received Ty's heart. Fletcher Carter of Mansfield, La., received a kidney. Kelly Barnes of Dekalb, Texas, received a kidney and pancreas. More about Ty Osman can be found at Ty2Foundation.org.
