Dr. Rosser Invites "The Bloodless Surgeon of Vienna" to Visit Dallas Dr. Adolf Lorenz of Austria gained fame in the early part of the century for his non-operative method of treating congenital joint and bone deformities. Dr. Rosser invited Dr. Lorenz to come to Dallas to demonstrate his manual manipulation methods. Great publicity was given to the visit in May 1903, causing medical professionals and prospective patients from throughout the state to gather in Dallas. Dr. Rosser later expressed his great satisfaction with the visit, saying that many people were cured and that "science was advanced to broader usefulness."
