This 95-bed, full-service hospital will serve the more than 133,000 residents in McKinney and surrounding communities. Located at the northwest corner of Highway 380 and Lake Forest Drive, Baylor Medical Center at McKinney will be a 469,000 square-foot featuring medical, surgical and emergency services, as well as access to leading physicians in an adjacent medical office building. As the community grows, so will the hospital, which has the potential to become a 400-bed campus with multiple adjacent medical office buildings.

(11/14/2012) Kelvin Lewis of Coca-Cola Refreshments joins the Board of Trustees at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine. Lewis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience launching new products and sustaining sales growth. He currently leads the sales and business relationship with the US Military exchange food service and vending retail customers within the Coca-Cola System. Lewis also held several progressive positions within Johnson & Johnson. He earned an executive MBA from Baylor University and Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Louisiana Tech University. Lewis has also participated in a host of community service projects. He and his family reside in Hurst.

(11/26/2012) - Seven Baylor facilities are now Sammons Cancer Centers, with two more expected in a few years. Joining Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas are Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Centers at Fort Worth, Garland, Grapevine, Irving, Plano, and Waxahachie. The cancer programs at the two newest hospitals in the system—Baylor Carrollton and Baylor McKinney—are well on their way to achieving accreditation and designation.

Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas is the newest location for a set of “B” and “G” letters that are part of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau branding campaign for the City of Dallas. The letters are currently located at 3410 Worth Street. On Monday, June 9, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation opened a new outpatient center in Weatherford. The facility, located at 2035 Fort Worth Highway, Suite 300, offers specialized physical therapy services to patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries, including ACL tears, strains and sprains of the neck, back and knees, and post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as other musculoskeletal conditions.
