Nurses From Baylor All Saints Medical Center At Fort Worth Are Honored

Three nurses from Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth are among D Magazine’s Excellence in Nursing nominees. The award ceremony was held on February 20, 2013 in Dallas.

“We are very proud of exemplary nursing staff at Baylor Fort Worth. We are honored to have three of our nurses recognized as part of D Magazine’s Excellence in Nursing,” says Dr. David Klein, interim president at Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth. “We take pride in knowing that Baylor provides safe, quality, compassionate care. Those nominated for the 2013 D Magazine Excellence in Nursing Award in their respective categories include:

  • Leadership – Janice Walker, MBA-HCM, BSN, RN, NEA-BC Chief Nursing Officer
  • Internal Medicine (Transplant) – Betsy Brechen, RN
  • Orthopedics – Cherie Adams, RN

Cherie was chosen as overall D Magazine Winner in the field of Orthopedics nursing care.  “We are so honored to have Cherie receive this prestigious award and so proud to have her working at Baylor All Saints,” says Janice Walker, chief nursing officer at Baylor Fort Worth.
